Vegeta was first introduced in the Dragon Ball series right after the death of Gokuu's brother Radditz. In the beginning, Vegeta is one of the main villains against the Z Warriors. He eventually becomes a member of the Z Team, but doesn't like the fact that he has to work with people that are weak. Throughout the series, Vegeta has a dislike towards Gokuu. Since he is of Royal blood, he doesn't believe that a low class warrior should be stronger then him. Vegeta is very egotistical and never wants help from anyone. He always wants to be the strongest there is. During the Freeza saga, Vegeta fights with Freeza thinking that he can beat him easily. However, the opposite happens and gets killed once Gokuu got revitalized and arrived to help them out. He is then later wished back to life along with all of the other Namek-seijin's that were killed by the hands of Freeza and his men and they are all transported to earth. Once on earth, Vegeta ends up staying at Capsule Corporation HQ with Buruma and her family. When the first Artificial Humans 19 and 20 show up, Vegeta comes out from his hard training and shows everyone that he also has turned Super Saiya-jin. This is also about the time that we find that Vegeta ended up having a kid, whose name is Trunks, with Buruma. Vegeta turns out to be one of the main characters in the story. In all of the movies, he is there to help out and says something about how he can't let them kill Gokuu since it's his job to kill him. The second time that Vegeta dies is during his fight with the fat Majin-Buu. He does a self-killing attack, which was in vain since he hardly had an effect towards Majin-Buu. Near the end of the Majin-Buu saga, Vegeta is brought back to help the out with the fight against Super Buu. Together with Gokuu, they fuse with the potaru earrings and form Vegetto. In Dragon Ball Movie 12, they do the Fusion technique that Goten and Trunks use, and they form Gogeta. The difference between the two is that one is fused with the earrings and is supposed to be permanent. The other, being the Gogeta fusion only lasts 30 minutes and is done with the Fusion technique and it is only done in movie 12 and in the later episodes of Dragon Ball GT.
